Enterprise Sales Consultant

This is a full-time base salaried position with potential bonus and commission pay primarily working from the Pittsburgh office location.


The Enterprise Sales Consultant is responsible for lead generation and sales creation.
Primary duties include telephone calling, database input, organizing a weekly business
opportunity pipeline, attending sales meetings and/or events, and administrative support to the sales process. Processes used are but not limited to cold calling, generation of leads
through market research, outside sales canvassing, and follow up on event
attendees and business partner lists.

  • Enters lead lists and individual prospects into our CRM system
  • 70+ Daily prospecting calls with the goal of setting appointments
  • Prequalifies prospective sales clients against company criteria
  • Updating CRM system with latest notes regarding outreach attempts or related information
  • Schedules in-person/conference call meetings for Outside Sales and Sales Engineers
  • Creates reports to show sales progress and other sales information, as requested or as needed, to foster generation of new business leads
  • Performs other tasks and duties, as requested or required, to support the sales and sales engineer processesl


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, or applicable subjects
  • 2-3 years of inside sales, outside sales, or call center experience a plus
  • Persistent, goal oriented, confident individual who motivates through obstacles
  • Displays excellent telephone, email, and communication etiquette skills
  • Ability to close sales appointments and possesses an understanding of customer service and solution selling
  • Can carry out detailed written or verbal instructions with multiple concrete variables
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and plan work independently to complete assigned activities on a day to day basis
  • Understands and can perform basic office skills, including filing, light typing, processing, and sorting functions
  • Possess good grammar, spelling, and communication skills
