Multi-Site Medical Firm Implements Complete Electronic Medical Records Software and Maintains Network without Internal IT Staff

A local medical firm came to Ideal Integrations with the goal of going paperless by launching a complete electronic medical records (EMR) package. EMR is the future for keeping medical records and with the strict rules involved in government regulations on patient data (HIPAA), it was extremely important that the move was handled by experts.

In cooperation with the EMR package's software developers, Ideal Integrations provided all the necessary hardware and software for the computer network infrastructure. All necessary servers were configured by Ideal and all necessary security practices were put in place, across the entire six-location WAN. Each remote location connects to the main location for all server resources, creating an easy to manage and secure WAN infrastructure.

Since completion of this project, Ideal Integrations has continued to provide complete support for the entire organization. The client does not employ any of its own IT staff, saving money year after year with a complete maintenance agreement from Ideal Integrations.
